Currently a few hundred miles west of the Sahara Desert surrounded by one
of the World’s oasis, continuing to make steady progress in much calmer and
warmer conditions.
We saw our second ship today, Orange Sky, a large cargo ship. She radioed
us for a DSC test message. Her radio operator sounded like a happier and and
more alive Sadam Hussein.
The practical department i the crew have spent their time sorting out solar
panels and replacing a chaffed preventer. Whilst the less practical bemoaned the
lack of dolphins and celebrating their first bowel movement!
Bruce continues to contemplate the likely size of the giant king fish he
anticipates catching – a case of premature
