Arrived Funchal Marina, Madeira. After a great seven hours sail. 20 knot winds on the beam most of the way.

 

A tiny 20 foot long reception pontoon and no bollards, other boats moored at end with a following wind...a bit of a challenge coming in, we were expected and quickly shown to our berth. Such a change from Morocco. But not nearly so exciting. Engine behaved itself, hopefully all is now well. Sailing down the Madeira coast it looks green and mountainous. A very impressive airstrip built out on high pillars over the sea. According to the pilot you can store your yacht, mast up for the winter under it! Now that is high.
