Shoal Under Attack
We saw an amazing sight the other evening. Fish jumping all around us for at least thirty minutes, many leaving the water completely. Suddenly we saw the reason as at least twenty dolphins near us surfaced and came towards us, no doubt with full bellies. They stayed for a few minutes of fun in our bow wave, then took off for their next rendezvous.

Equator
We cross the Equator today just after lunch. Hopefully it is the dry season in the Northern Hemisphere and we can dry out after three days of almost continuous rain. For Denis and Ben this is their first time on a sailing boat, so Bill and I have been planning how to celebrate. Nothing too drastic, just a wee dram to share with Neptune, followed by some freshly baked cinnamon rolls. Penny gave me some liquorice for my Christmas rations, so Bill as he doesn’t drink and this is one of his little passions, will have one Pontefact Cake for Bill and one for Neptune.
