Spirits were high
As we left Cap Cano we were seen off by Hiener who came to shake us all personally by the hand. The Marina manager radioed us, his favourite crew, to wish us a safe journey. The marina workers stood to wave and many holiday makers thought who the hell is that? Must have been film stars in the under-stated boat.

Rocky Rodeo Ride and a Double Date with Dinner
We left Cap Can Marina in a three metre swell, which resulted in WD scraping the sandy bottom after a large swell in the entrance. We found a confused sea, but a great wind. WD set a good pace towards our first waypoint. Unfortunately, the crew gradually succumbed to the rolling ride and met their dinner again.

Next morning, when we had passed the headland things settled into a better rhythm.

We have travelled 131 miles in the last 24 hours and have 710 miles still to go.
