Starbo Disappears
Starbo gradually dropped further behind last night. At about 2230, Steller Topaz, a 330m cargo ship appeared on a direct heading for us, ten miles off she altered course directly for Starbo. Starbo have no AIS and a habit of watching films at night. Concerned that they may not have seen the ship I radioed with ETA. This morning we were so far apart, we couldn’t hear clearly, but we did establish all was ok on board and they were twenty miles behind us.

Fish, What Fish
Fresh food is running low, so we have the lines out. Tony calls the squid lures, “Skirts”. So far even with the name change we still haven’t caught anything.

Wet, Wet, Wet
The swell is directly on the beam today and we have had a few dunkings in the cockpit. Mostly though all is well and we dry out in between.
