I’m not sure if I have said before that our old dinghy (which never did get a name, but has done 12 years of good service!) had a bad dose for f heatstroke shortly after we arrived in St Lucia last month. The seams opened in one or two places, causing the air to go out quite quickly! Apparently this is what happens to PVC dinghies in the heat, but I’m taking it back to England and she hopefully can get repaired in cooler weather.
Meanwhile Abby was bought second hand and is now part of the team. She’s a bit big and heavy with an aluminium hull so I plan to sell her before the crossing back if anyone knows anyone in Bermuda who would like to buy a dinghy!
