with 1947 miles to go we think that we will call it 1/2 way. took long
enough to do the last few hundred miles to this point!
we keep toying with the idea of the asymmetric but then the wind starts to
rise and we put it off. we have compensated by Manuela doing her washing and
hanging out the few pairs of large knickers she possesses to add to the sail
area! since we are back up to 6 knots in the right directionish i think it
is a success!
given that it is 1/2 way i had a proper wash with buckets of salt water a
good scrub and fresh water rinse i feel so much better! maybe now i smell
better we will see some wildlife!
Very pleased to hear of your continued fishing success i think we will have
to start soon as the meat is getting lower so there is room in the fridge. I
have been loath to catch something and then throw most of it away as we
could not keep it, seems like n insult to the fish.
