So we continue to head towards the top of Australia and Indonesia. It is fairly unrelentingly hard on the wind in stiff conditions or no wind; with bouts of rain thrown in.
we had a hitchhiker last night with a blue booby(?) riding on the pulpit just flying off when we shortened sail and the returning. Some of its friends tried to join the boat but the windgenerator was a bit harsh on them when they tried to settle ther but a bashing from the blades seemed not to injure them. i have yet to check the blades but the sound is the same so i guess they are ok
