Morning (or whatever it is where you are!)
well i think we found the start of the trade winds and have had a reasonable run for the last 24hrs or so. Furthermore what started as squally and wet gradually improved to just a fairly steady breeze. Now we are back to the routing questions in that the breeze is forecast to ease at this latitude and the indications are that we should get further south,, however other boats which have done that have had more boisterous conditions. Its the old "can i have...oh not that much!"
As an aside yesterday when it was a bit more blowy the boat i must say loved it with a fair bit of water peeling off the bow like a field being ploughed. would have been good ariel footage.
lots of Chinese fishing boats around so that is a fair old trip back to land the catch!
