We have an infestation of some kind of tiny moths at the moment. Not sure where they come from but they got into sealed tupperware
boxes... again how? Don't know how they survive either given that everything in these sealed boxes is sealed too... Another great mystery!

What a difference a day makes! We had the loveliest day out at sea this whole passage today. Wind constant 15/16 knots, in the right direction, waves seriously flatter and no sploshing at all. Sunshine and warm breeze, what more can you want. Sailing conservatively in these conditions, we manage to average 5.5 knots speed without the added drama. It was so good Manuela got to make her yogurt
finally. We'll see the result tomorrow morning for breakfast. Made the most of the quiet to clean up too, new clean sheets on, had a wash, and Manuela made an inventory of all her knocks and bruises... black and blue from all those little lurches against things . The nice
easy ride probably won't last the night out, wind is bound to get up and shake us again.

We are just about to pass the half way point. From tomorrow we will be counting down the miles for real... Bubbly is in the fridge! Should be ice cold by the time we get there, as well as fit to burst with the shaking!
We have been entertaining ourselves finding historical events to match the miles remaining on the clock. It was easy for the 2000, 1900 and still ok for 1800. However the 1700 have proven more challenging, all this despite me playing on both the French and English history. Amazing how many dates you retain and can be linked to events, birthdays or other. I know too much time on our hands, should be trimming sails instead!
