pressing on managed to move west in the light airs last night to get somewhere near some other boats line of approach to Galapagos see if it works for us too!
We have plenty of food so our slow progress thus far does not mean we are in imminent danger of starving ...mind you i might have to start fishing at some stage!
We have some company just of the feathered kind, 3 birds 2 white with beautiful black edging to their wings and one "brown booby" keep constant vigils around us enjoying the up currents from the sails i guess. Their wings are designed for soaring looking just like those of a glider, quiet marvellous to watch the effortless way they circle and swoop. You really have to take your hat off to nature sometimes for the way things evolve. Which is quite an apt thought in the Galapagos part of the world with its Darwin finches etc.
So lets do this thing! fair winds and good passage
