we did have the wings as wings for a while but the wind has swung back to the SE so we are back with them folded as a double thickness yankee not their finest usage but better than a sail change. After a period of about 24hrs of lightish winds the forecast is for it to get back to the normal half a hoolee tonight. so it was a chance to do all those things outside in the cockpit yesterday and today before it might get a bit damp out there still it is heartening to see we only have 250 miles to go and are now counting days rather than weeks! We aim to go round the south side of Mauritius then up the west coast to port Louis. The northern end of the island looked like it had more reefs, islands and overfalls than the south.
