Good afternoon folks
well it is now under 1000 miles to our destination, which should feel like we are getting there, but still seems like a fair old way to go. This feeling of the last chunk seeming longer is not new, we have encountered it before, cannot explain it as a mental process. To help we have various milestones written up on a page taped to the wall which we tick off as we go. we have been using 5% markers with some other measurements relating to the number of Fastnet races left to go. so we are below 2 Fastnet races and coming up on 25% to go. What is frustrating is that we have at least 4 days of lighter airs now according to the forecast. Anyway the skies are still beautiful and the food good so not all is wrong in the world!
