Broadcasting from the inside of the washing machine again... This is the 2nd
day and the 2nd nights we've been thoroughly shaken and stirred, as well as
pummelled by enormous waves. And not quite up the clacker, close but no
banana! Given that we have a sail up barely the size of one a pair of knickers, it is a wonder that we are managing 5 to 6 knots, up to 8
knots on a surf! It is all a bit scary though especially when a big wave
swamps us and the companion way and the hatches have water coming down,
despite it all being tightly shut! Hoping it will all calm down tomorrow as
forecast... it would be nice to have a rest. The conditions are not really
conducive to sound sleep.
