We planned on heading back to Washaway Cafe on Sunday evening to celebrate the Chief of Police's birthday but decided it was a little bit too far to go as we only had two cars and there were 17 of us, meaning we'd need to do a few runs. So we decided to go to a restaurant that was much closer making the shuttle runs easier. When we all turned up I think they were a bit shocked as they'd never had so many customers all at once but at least the menu was simple, fish and chips, steak and chips or chicken and chips!

We had a lovely meal but as soon as everyone was finished and Pete from Fai Tira discovered the karaoke machine in the corner everyone went wild. The threesome on Fai Tira kicked off and once they'd started there was no stopping them, we had songs like Barbra Ran, New York New York, We Will Rock You, just to name of few. Carol from Bali Blue amazed us all with a fantastic singing voice. Blue Magic sang a couple and Paul joined the men from Blue Magic for a rendition of Delilah and Leaving on a Jet Plane. Me and Amy joined the ladies from Blue Magic and sang One Way or Another. And the waitresses sang a couple of songs when they could get a chance.

The best bit was that you were scored at the end out of 100 by the machine. Me and Amy actually scored an impressive 99, would you believe it! Others managed a 99 but the majority were 95's and 96's apart from the waitresses who kept scoring 100!

Unfortunately we have no pictures as yet another Olympus camera has broken, this one hadn't even been in the water! Amy now has 3 to return when she comes home. The SLR camera is also on the blink and keeps playing up so it looks like that one may be returned too!
