Sunday 3rd October

Mark - Excelsior tour's organiser booked a couple of taxi's to take us to the Mindil Beach Sunset Market. In 1987 six people's vision to bring a taste of Asia's night markets to Australia came to fruition.

The market runs on Thursday's and Sunday's throughout the dry season, from the end of April until the end of October and attracts hundreds of visitors. There are hand made arts and crafts for sale and food from five continents.

We chose some food from the Chinese stall and sat on the grass ready to watch the sunset over Mindil beach.

There was a variety of live entertainment from bands, street performers, acrobatics and fire shows.
