As the hoards began to arrive at Koh Dam Khwan we saw that as our cue to leave, and so we set off for Koh Yao Yai. Paul's foot has been getting worse and more painful each day so he spoke to Sheila on board Miss Tippy who used to be a nurse and arranged a rendezvous point for her to check it out. We had a slight breeze and managed to tootle across to the island doing just a few knots, it's just nice not to have the drone of the engine which we seem to have had for some time now. The bay was calm and so quiet that it was a pleasant surprise, unfortunately we were surrounded by jellyfish so that ruled out swimming.

Nurse Sheila took a look at Pauls foot and agreed with him that it was not in a good way, so she advised him to take other medication along with what he was already taking. This advice fell on deaf ears as the antibiotics cause you to be violently sick if you drink alochol, so of course Paul refused to take them.

Brian and Sheila came round for some Chilli Con Carne later in the evening and left the kids at home watching films. A great evening was had with great company!
