There's still no wind to talk of and it's beginning to feel as if we're stood next to a jet engine - the constant droning is not pleasant! Anyhow, we had an uneventful night with a beautiful glow of phosphorescence around the boat. We'd noticed earlier in the day that there appeared to be a layer of yellow/green algae on the surface of the water, yet we didn't think much more about it than that. It was only when the sun went down and the moon was hiding behind the clouds that it was dark enough for us to see what was around us. Our wake as well as all the other boats were causing the phosphorous to light up brighter than we have ever seen and much bluer than usual. It was absolutely spectacular!
