After the excitement of the Bungy jump we drove a short distance towards Cromwell and the wine region of Otago. We stopped at Peregrine Vineyard, a new contemporary award winning building that sits comfortably alongside original stone buildings. We tasted a number of wines before heading back to Arrowtown.

Back in Arrowtown we went to Dorothy Browns Cinema, its a quirky little Cinema and bar with two screens, the main cinema can accommodate 20 people and The Den 15. We settled down in The Den with some cheese and wine, very civilized, to watch The Last Station starring Helen Mirran and Christopher Plummer. It is a love story set during the last year of the life and turbulent marriage of Russian writer Leo Tolstoy and his wife Countess Sofya. I think Paul could have done with something a bit more light hearted because as soon as the lights were dimmed he fell asleep. Too much excitement for one day.
