Monday 28th June

Paul and Amy booked up to do a kart safari around the island. This involved driving around the island in go-karts through the wooded areas i.e. not using the conventional roads. They'd been warned to wear clothes that they didn't mind getting muddy as you can return caked in mud, so much so that you can only see peoples eyes. Thankfully though as it hadn't been raining too much the routes weren't muddy they were just dusty so they returned looking quite decent.

Ready for the off!

The roads weren't too bad at first

But then they got narrower and narrower!

They drove past a lot of old dilapidated buildings that people still lived in

As well as some brightly coloured homes

The first of four stops - spectacular!

Then it was off again, through the bushes to an impressive beach

The scenery kept changing all the time, they went from dirt tracks to open fields with scattered palm trees

More impressive views

Now it was Amy's turn to drive and she made sure she shoved Paul into the bushes as much as he did to her!

The waves crashing onto the shore

The guides found some coconuts for the pit-stop
