After nearly 3 weeks in Providencia we are about to depart and head for the Rio Dulce in Guatemala. The conditions for the first 24 hours aren't as good as we would like but after that we should have reasonably good weather. We will leave here at about 6pm tonight and we expect to take about 4.5 days or so to get to Livingston, the port of entry to Guatemala at the mouth of the Rio Dulce. We will be traveling with SV Arwen again, with Jens and Dani who we travelled from San Andres to Providencia with. Our plan is to sail non stop to Guatemala, although we will have opportunities to stop in the Honduran Bay Islands (Guanaja, Roatan or Utila), but as a tropical wave is going to be heading this way in a couple of days we need to be in Guatemala preferably by next Thursday, Friday at the latest.

We will try to do regular position updates throughout the trip so you can see how we are going.
