Thursday morning was spent removing the torn mainsail and fitting the new one. It went well, looks to be a bit bigger than the old one so should give us a bit more go. Nigel went into town after lunch to pick up his visas and returned just before sunset in a dinghy with Chris and Ben from Mawali. We haven't seen these guys since Shelter Bay so we spent a few hours catching up over dinner and a few drinks. This morning we moved Liseron from the mooring in front of the Novotel Hotel and back to the anchorage near the Royal Suva Yacht Club next to Mawali. We hit the MHCC Supermarket to top up the pantry and we will refuel at the Yacht Club fuel dock at 4pm. After that we are heading for dinner with the Mawali boys.
Tomorrow morning we will check out and set sail for Noumea, which is 700 nm away. The weather looks good and we should arrive next Thursday sometime.
