The last 2 days have been a mixed bag for the weather. We had to take the Mainsail down yesterday morning due to a squall but continued on the Headsail, making reasonable time. We did 166nm in the 24hrs up till 2pm yesterday. Not quite our fastest, but close. The seas continued to build yesterday reaching 3-4m with chop, but 'Liseron' handled the conditions well. Squalls came in again last night and we had to reef the Headsail, slowed us down markedly for awhile. The wind has returned, but now instead of ESE it is coming from the ENE and we are doing 6kts on the headsail. We crossed over the top of the Society Islands yesterday & last night coming within 75nm. Terry & Laine (Virgo's Child) are currently at Bora Bora which was less than a days sail away. Would have been so nice to slip down and say hi. We have started playing our nightly games of 'Sequence' again and the boys are putting up a fight.
