Well we have finally left Linton and are now back at Chichime in the San Blas. We left Linton at 7am this morning (Thursday) and arrived in Chichime at 3.30pm this afternoon. Our anchor chain was covered in small barnacles after only 2 weeks so it was definitely time to go. We didn't pick the best time to leave as we ran into a pretty good storm almost straight away, quite a bit of wind, rain and lightning, but only lasted about an hour and a half. Was pretty overcast until midday and then cleared into a beautiful day. We are writing this while having a G&T and watching the sunset over Chichime. Spent about half an hour cleaning the hull when we arrived, doesn't take long for the barnacles and slime to grow in this climate. Quite a lot of backpacker boats in here this time. We are anchored in front of Raoul's island although we haven't caught up with him yet. We have some photos from Terry and Laine for him, so will catch him tomorrow. We have 3 lobster for dinner, delivered fresh to our boat about an hour after we arrived (cost $6). Have ordered some fish for tomorrow, god you have got to love this place. We did attempt to catch our own dinner on the way with the rod and lure. One strike but lost the fish and hook!!! Probably another Barracuda, that's all we have seen here.
