Well after our big day of 185 nm the other day the winds dropped and we have been struggling ever since, even had to run an engine for about 10 hours last night to try and hurry things up a bit. Only did 99 nm in the last 24 hours, so that has brought our average speed down a bit. We left Galapagos 1 week ago this morning, and we have sailed 950 nm since then. The winds are quite light and have moved around more from the ESE, so they are coming from almost directly behind us, which is not the best point of sail for Liseron. We are only doing about 4 knots at the moment so not setting any speed records, but it is very peaceful and relaxing. We took the opportunity to wash the bed sheets, make water, bake bread and do an internal clean, all very domestic but nice to have clean stuff again. Sue spotted a container ship about 11nm away two nights ago, but other than that it is just us by the look of it. Only 4400 nm to Fiji, so hope to be there in 5 weeks or so.
