Well we are on our way home. Left the boat yesterday and travelled to Panama City with Roger (Panamanian taxi driver). We are staying at the Toscana Inn in the El Cangrejo (crab) district which is down town Panama City. Spent several hours yesterday at Allbrook Mall which is enormous and has all the shops and department stores you would see at any shopping centre in Australia, although they have different names such as Titan, Conway etc. We went to a Peruvian Restaurant for dinner last night. We had a mixed seafood entree for 2. Fried fish, prawns, octopus, muscles and calamari served with a red onion sauce. John had steak with a chunky seafood sauce & I had chilli chicken with Peruvian spices & rice. It was a little different but quite nice. We have spent today walking around the shopping precinct close to the hotel and had a Panamanian hamburger for lunch. We are going to a boutique brewery pub just around the corner tonight. Could be interesting. We fly out to LA tomorrow and then from LA to Brisbane tomorrow night arriving in Australia early Tuesday morning, then on to Rockhampton Tuesday afternoon. We will see how we cope with jet lag after 48 hrs of travelling. Looking forward to lamb chops.
