We have moved around a bit in the last few days. We only spent one night at the West Holandes anchorage and then moved to an anchorage called the Hot Tub at the East Holandes. Nice place, good shelter and only 2 other yachts besides us and Better Days. Did quite a lot of snorkelling here with Connie and Steve spending a couple of hours each day in the water. The reefs are quite good with lots of coral and plenty of small reef fish. We have been looking for lobster and finally managed to catch my first one. The Kuna work these areas over pretty thoroughly and they are pretty hard to find. Have also been teaching myself to use the spear which was included with the fishing gear that came with the boat, have managed to scare a couple of fish so far but I'm glad we are not relying on it to feed us. Connie and Steve (Better Days) left yesterday morning and headed to Nargana to refuel and start to prepare to head back to Shelter Bay to haul out before returning to Florida for a couple of months. We left the Hot Tub this morning and moved to our current anchorage back in the Coco Bandero Cays. This time we are in the main anchorage along with about 8 other boats, another really beautiful place. Had a good trip across, had a bit of wind this morning so sailed for about an hour which was a really nice change from motoring everywhere. Have had some rain since we arrived and managed to catch about 40 litres to top up the tanks a bit. We will probably stay here for quite a few days and spend some time snorkelling and laying around thinking of where we will go next. Our new shade cover/rain catcher should be ready in a few days but we are not sure when we will head back to Linton to get it. Will be nice to have it to make collecting the rain a bit easier but don't rally want to do the 8 hour trip each way to get it.
