We are in San Andres - arrived at the entrance to the channel into the harbour at around 12.30pm but it was around 2pm before we were anchored. The water here is the most incredible range of blues and is gin clear, and chock full of Columbian holiday makers. We have only been here a few hours but this is definitely a party island. It is not very big but we have seen at least 6 large jets land within 5 or so hours, no wonder it is called Columbia's Hawaii. We have checked in - it is a requirement to use an Agent here to handle the check in and out formalities, we used Rene from Serrana Agency. Although today is a public holiday it was handled quickly and pleasantly without the attitude and requests for "fuel money" we found in Panama.
We are both a bit tired - didn't get a lot of sleep over the 2 nights and think it may be an early night tonight. However, at least 5 party boats loaded to the gills and blaring reggae have been cruising around the harbour so will have to see how it goes. We will do a more detailed update when we get access to the internet.
