We have now at anchor at Isla Panarea.

We have a good view of Stromboli but it is not doing a lot at the moment, but who knows, mabie tonight.

Our 2 night passage was pretty uneventful.

At sunset on the first night we had a few dolphins playing with the boat and the following morning on Steve’s watch a whole lot of them arrived and were playing at the bows for a while.

We stopped at a different island to fuel on the way – Lipary.

We realised when we left the fuelling dock that we were more tired than we thought.

We came in under full mainsail and did not even notice!!!

Luckily there was no wind.

This is a pretty quiet island.  The water is extremely clear and there seem to be lots of dayboats doing snorking and diving..

We went ashore last night at it turns out that this is a top resort for the Italians..    and prices go go with it.

We spent the evening in a restaurant overlooking our yacht and Stromboli.  A couple of times Stromboli splattered a bit of red into the sky..  what a view !!!

Today it is time to head for Sardinia and Corsica..  – no rest for the wicked !!!!
