We have now been in Antigua for about 10 days.  It is really nice here, we have access to a 30M swimming pool and there is a lovely beach only 5-10 minute walk away.  We went for a run today and yesterday, it is time to get a bit fitter...  We have found that living on the boat we are getting quite unfit and stiff.    We went running with Antigua H3 last Saturday.  As it was the day of the cricket match between Antigua and US Virgin Islands the run started early and was very short.  It started by the airport and as part of the run we went up to the top of the watch tower and then went round the airport.  What is really cool is that the hast have their own beer bus which comes after the run and we can buy lots of ice cool beers.  They run every 2 weeks and we will try to make it to another of their runs.  We hired a car a few days ago and went to English Harbour, Nelsons dockyard and Shirley Heights.  It was not too bad to get there, roads are fairly good but we were a bit surprised of the total lack of roadsigns.  When we got the taxi to go to the hash run the taxidriver told us that the local tour guides keep removing them as they do not want people to be able to find their way round on their own!!  We have been into St Johns a couple of times by bus.   It is just like St Lucia, buses run on demand and they are really cheap.

Pictures below are taken from Shirley heights and show the view over English and Falmouth harbours and Nelsons Dockyard.

In Nelsons Dockyard we saw some small rowing boats which had just arrived from sailing accross the Atlantic.  They took about 60 days.  I must say it makes what we did seem quite easy and I really would not fancy rowing accross.     - Picture below::
