We sailed overnight last night from Patmos and arrived about 9am this morning at the Island of Kea.

We did not know what to expect.  We decided to come here as the yacht name is Island of Kea.

Nice surprise.  This is a lovely quiet island. Not very touristy at all.  We are tied to the town key – stearn to of course.

Diana and I went for a swim in the harbour this morning and unfortunately I had problems getting back ashore as I could not climb up the key because of my shoulder problems.  Luckily a motor yacht at the wall felt sorry for me and let down their bathing ladder and let me climb across their boat.

We hired a car and drove up to the capital and afterwards we drove all round the island.

Tomorrow we will do a bit more driving, then move onto a anchorage and do some swimming and resting and then head off again tomorrow night heading for the Corinth canal.
