Last night was very rolly and we all found it
difficult to sleep.
Steve and I had less than two hours, Richard a bit
more as he has the crew cabin bed which has a lee cloth which stops you falling
out of bed.
To crown all this, about 8am this morning, we had a
wave come and squeeze in through the heads window aft and soaking our
bed.. not a good start of an 8 night passage.
Today I have been trying to rinse the sea and dry
them hanging off the bimini.. may make the boat go faster...
On my watch I had lots of thunder and lightening
and some rain.. The wind picked up and changed direction so very busy
time..
a few hours later it died down and went the other
side so we had to gybe. about 1am.
we are a bit further north than rest of the rally,
we though we might get better wind which we are at the moment but we are heading
further south now as we have heard from 'Larooba'
who are further north that there is no
wind..
hoping for a dryer night tonight and a bit more
sleep :-)
