We arrived in Panama Sunday morning 14th of Feb.

We had to tie to a half built floating dock to start with which was a challenge to avoid large bolts sticking into the side of the boat.  We then got a marina berth – rather lucky as it is pretty full.

Laundry got done straight away.

Doug arrived about 3pm with Richard and Boot from Blue water rally.

Arrangements for the Panama transit were kicked in immediately.

We are starting transit 4pm this afternoon (local time = UK-5)

We will stay in the lake in the middle of the canal which apparently is full of crockodiles so no midnight swim.

The rest of the rally have already gone through so we will join them tomorrow in time for a meal out tomorrow night and Galapagos briefing on Thrusday morning.

So we have nearly caught up.

This is now quite exciting..

We are finding ways to source watermaker membrames and have got someone to look at autopilots – so all cool..
