We left Le Marin this morning (Friday 25th of January) and headed up the west coast of Martinique.  We were thinking of spending one night at Fort de France before heading up to Dominica.  Just before Fort De France, we saw this lovely bay with a wonderful Anchorage and we decided to spend the night in Grande Anse D'Arlet instead.
This is a true paradise.  The sea is perfectly clear and looks emerald green in colour.  Even though it is 10 meters deep we can see clearly the bottom.
I swam over the anchor to see that it was properly set and this is the first time I have been able to swim off the boat this year.
We had a peaceful night apart from a bit of rolling which again made the water slosh in the tanks underneath our bead.
