We had a great day out Saturday. We took the scenic railway to Kuranda.  Went to a zoo to see Koala bears, Wollabys, snakes, crockodiles and more.

We then went to Tajapuaki, a cultural village where the customs of the Aboriginals were demonstrated.  We got a lesson in playing a Didgerydoo and throwing a boomerang.

 

    

The scenic railway (we were in carriage at the back)  walking through the jungle…

   

 Beautiful waterfall..  lots of them..        walking in the jungle.

 

  

Walking in the creek                                   now and again we saw some lovely flowers in the rain forest/jungle..

Koalas are soo cuddly…this one was soo sleapy..       This one is awake..
