Well we arrived here on Saturday late afternoon, too late really to go ashore so a good meal and a reasonably early night.

The next day we got quarantine guys on board who were very excited over the freezer and accepted a beer each (all 4 of them).

We then cleared immigration and saw yet another  health and safety guy ashore.

Port authority were not able to clear us as they need a stamp from Customs before doing their stamping of documents.

Richard (BWR) assured us that good news, he had a deal with tourist board/district government that no bounty would be needed and all was looking good.

Next day, unfortunately no news and no signature.

Now the situation is that Port autority have cleared us but no movement from Customs.   Well we have not been arrested/deported yet but all stalemate..

We may need to leave here without a customs clearance which could land us in trouble at our next destination and at worst have yacht compounded and all arrested.

We feel a bit better though that the port authority guy said that Komodo and Bali don’t really care, just not to display yellow flag and that Nongsa point where we need to clear out are relaxed..    Well let’s hope that all this is true.

We had a day out yesterday and saw a bit of the area..

Busy roads,  hot, lots of people and not really a lot to see but at least we have seen what there is..
