We have had some more setbacks re. dates of the ship arriving in Salalah to carry all the 20 yachts safely to Marmaris.

(now they are saying 19-20^th May – we will see)

Oman Air started direct flights to Dubai from Salalah twice per week and we decided to hop on the first flight on 4^th of May.

Our visa was running out on that date so it was ideal.

We were only away 3 nights and had two full days to explore Dubai.

We had a lovely time, the highlight was skiing, especially for me (Katrin) as this was the first time skiing since my skiing accident nearly 6.5 years ago. 

Shops are amazing… definitely would like to come back some time in the future with lots of money to spend.
