Here is a picture of all the crew on Island Kea II in the Atlantic

Steve managed to fix the problem with the autopilot so he was declared hero of the day and we all had a beer to celebrate.
It seems that the bolt had not been fitted properly on the new hydraulic Drive when it was fitted in Gibraltar, but at least all working now..

We seem to have headed much further south than most of the ARC fleet and the trade winds are not blowing as they are supposed to do.  There is quite a lot of north in it which means we are not able to use the parasailor and progress is much slower than we would like.  I am now very concerned about gettin to St Lucia before Alex and Inga on the 18th but there is still quite a long way to go and a lot can change....

We have not tried fishing yet, we have so much food which needs to be eaten from the fridge so we are not going to put the fising line out until we are in a position to eat what we catch..
I did not get a lot of sleep yesterday, I find the watch from 12 midnight to 3am quite difficult as there is not enough time to get quality sleep before and not long before dawn afterwards, but I should be able to get a bit more sleep this afternoon.

It is warm and sunny now, but soem clouds on the horizon so we may be getting some rain in the next half hour or so..
