We hired a taxi driver for 2 hours to take us round
St Kitts and here are some photographs...
We went the site of a old Plantation which is now a
batik workshop. Below you can see out taxi driver/guide explain to Steve
about the main house having burnt down, but the front steps still standing where
people come to get married.
The gardens apart from the variety of plants could
easily have been in Surrey..
A view over the southern end of the island.
The road has recently been built so this view was only available for the strong
walkers before. View over the hotel complex with a golf
course.
Just to prove that we went there!! - do you like my
new hat?????? keeps the sun off my face...
