Yesterday we made better progress.  Currents seemed kinder and less wind but still pretty much on the nose.  We had a bit of a change in direction for a while so we were able to motorsail rather than just motor.
The engine has not been off since we left La Coruna.  It was not our intention to motor all the way accross Bay of Biscay and the English Channel but this seems to be what we will be doing.

Yesterday we had a French War ship, a french submarine, whales and dolphins.  so quite an exciting day.
The sun was shining and a bit warmer than we have had it for the last few days.

We now have current against us again and it is not clear where we will be making landfall in UK.
It may well be Falmouth rather than Plymouth because of tides..
