Well last night was a rather exciting night.  We overtook another rally about 9pm.  This was 11 yachts together in a group.
Just after this we heard that one of our yachts in the group ahead of us had got stuck in a drifting net in an area full of nets.
We were about 2 hours away but 3 miles further out from the coast and we were advised that it was too dangerous to take another yacht to that
area and too dangerous to go in the water in the dark.
As we were going 3 miles away 3 of our skippers who are experienced divers basically turned round and said that they could not possibly go past another yacht in this
terrible situation and set off in the dinghy in wetsuits armed with knifes and tourches.
They managed to cut the yacht free and help navigate to get him out of the area.
The rest of our group and the other group basically drifted waiting for the others to return.
So at the end of a sleepless night we had all yachts under way again.

We now have a 7th yachts in our group as the skipper on one of the yachts is suffering badly from toothache and our group i much faster and will get to our destination a day earlier by sticking with us.

It is another sunny day now.
We are still motoring but assisted with some wind on the side.
We are now overtaking the other rally yachts again as we got delayed quite a bit in the night so we got behind them.

All is well on Island Kea
