We have now been staying in Lanzarote for just over two weeks.

Marina Rubicon is a lovely marina with very good facilities including a swimming pool for use of berth holders only.

We hired a car and travelled extensively round the Island.  We have visited most of the turist attractions on the island.

This included the National park with all the Volcanoes, Cactus garden, Lava tubes and have enjoyed lovely views from various parts of the Island.

It is interesting how the people here have made use of the lava to make interesting features to see.

The beaches are also beautiful with clear emerald green/blue sea.   The sea is wonderful to swim in.

It is hot and sunny in the day but reasonably cool at night so sleeping has not been a problem.

It is with great reluctance we are leaving here, but we know we will probably feel like this about a lot of the places we visit.

At least we have done our best to try every restaurant and bar within a mile of the boat.
