We are now motoring up the west coast of
India. It is flat calm, no wind so we are motoring. The autopilot is
not working any more so we are hand steering 1 hour at a time.
This is very nice (despite the autopilot no longer
working) after the rough seas and strong winds we have had.
Last night we were planning to have something out
of tins but as the freezer no longer works I made a chili from scratch, quite a
challenge in the sea conditions.
got soaking wet as I had to go out on deck to reef
the main - well all part of the fun.
We expect to get to Cochin about 8pm local time
which is too late to get into the marina as it will be dark so we plan to anchor
outside the marina entrance and complete the journey first
thing in the morning.
