We have now left Sri lanka about 2 hours ago and we
are motoring towards India.
During our stay in Sri Lanka we went on a 5 day
tour into the hill country (middle of the island) where we stayed in different
places each night.
We went on a Jeep Safari, saw lots of Temples,
Visited a tea factory and the highlight was to walk to the top of Sigiriya
rock.
We will post some pictures when we get to Indi as
we hope to get interconnection there.
Where we stayed in Sri Lanka was in the port with
the Navy. quite something to see a soilder with a rifle at the back of the
boat when looking out.
We had to get the dinghi to a wall and then climb
up some metal stairs, not so easy when wearing a dress.
This passage is likely to take 2-3 days and as we
did not leave until 1pm it will probably be 3 nights..
