We are now anchored just of Kumai
village/town
Last night we spent on anchor just outside the
river mouth and it was not pleasant.
The boat was rolling a lot and pitching and we were
a bit concerned about the line holding.
We got up at 5.30am, got the anchor up and started
heading towards the river.
We have now booked a trip up the river tomorrow
starting at 5.30am until 5pm to see the Orang utangs.. This is all very
exciting.
Spirit of Nina is the only other rally yacht
here.
Richard(our crew) has gone into town with John
and Phyllis from Spirit of Nina to look around, but Steve and I are taking it
easy on the boat this afternoon, waiting for fuel and I have just run the
washing machine and hung the washing out.
It does not matter how exotic the location is, the domestics still need to be
seen to!!!
