We decided that we had to get away from the harbour.  There is nothing here and areas nearby very busy.  They are dredging the harbour also so it is incredibly noisy and dirty. This was all getting very stressful..

We decided to treat ourselves to a 2 nights in a nice hotel in UBUD.

We got there about 5pm on the first day, just enough time to go for a swim and a relaxing bath (amazing luxury) before dinner..

The next day we went into UBUD and walked to the Kings funeral/cremation preparation which was quite spectacular.

This is a massive event and there will not be another for at least 10 years.

We went to see a dance at the palace in the evening..

Streets were very busy..                             lady selling sarongs..  see all the motorbikes parked…
