We have now been in Tahaa for a few days on a mooring
buoy in front of the yacht club.
We had pretty bad weather for a few days and this
spot is relatively sheltered.
We have just chilled out and relaxed in a nice place.
We visited the pearl farm where we had a
demonstration on how Tahiti pearls are made.
Small ball of shell from Missisipi river is inserted
inside an oyster and it takes 18 months for a pearl to be ready.
Many of the rally boats have now arrived, so we will
have dinner in the yacht club tonight and move on to a different place
tomorrow.
Last night we were invited on Aqualuna had a fabulous
barbeque and a really good evening..
Slightly sore heads this morning, but not too bad…
