Position 14:58 S 147.38W 

 

We arrived in Rangiroa about 9.30 on Thursday morning (this is 8.30 Thur evening UK time).

 

Entering the pass through into the lagoon was interesting.  We were doing boat speed of 8 kts but only doing about 0.6 kts over ground.

This is because of the current coming out.  There were huge breaking waves and interesting for Steve to steer but we got here safely

 

This is a wonderful lagoon and the least movement we have had for over 2.5 months.

 

The sea is wonderfully clear and there is lots of fish.  We went snorkling in what felt like an aquarium.
