On our one day visit to Gibraltar, we took the opportunity to visit the
history prawn Rock with its fortifications, Downtown Gibraltar and the Marina area.

A short, but a very interesting and worth while stop over.

On our way north east to our second last stop in Carcassonne located in southern
France, we had to make a short technical stop at Almeria on the Spanish South Coast, to
pick up some fuel.

Sunday morning, before our flight home, we spent some time to see the historic
old town.

The main road from Spain across to Gibraltar crosses the middle of the runway!
All traffic is stopped, while aircrafts are approaching for landing and take offs.
