47. Trujillo, Peru - Guayaquil, Ecuador-

Today’s trip from northern Peru to Guayaquil in Ecuador started out
relatively early in the morning with a good session on the Internet,
visiting a number of weather web sites with forecasts, winds aloft and
satellite pictures for this part of the world.
The weather en route to Guayaquil was such, that we could definitely
make the trip today, with good visibility first, and low overcast and
a IFR arrival at our destination.
Going through all the administrative tasks the airport of Trujillo,
again the
staff there proved to be professional, efficient and very helpful
to us.
As we flew over the northern part of Peru, there were long stretches of
rugged coast lines, long desert like country sites, and only rare
populated
parts.
Once we crossed over the border into Ecuador, the land we flew over
and could see from time between the clouds, became more and more green
and
fertile,
as we approached our destination.
Tomorrow Sunday, our next flight will be all over water, heading north
to
Panama City.
